The Detroit Tigers are the oldest continuous one name, one city franchise in the Major League Baseball AL division.  The Detroit Tigers was formed in 1901 and they are also one of the eight original charter franchises in the MLB. All in all, the Detroit Tigers have won four World Series Championships, 11 AL Pennants, and four Central Division Championships. Currently, the Detroit Tigers Baseball team plays its home games at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit.

Through the years, the Detroit Tigers have built a solid fan foundation due to its great play and the legends that suited for the team. One legend that stood out was Ty Cobb. Ty Cobb was acquired by the Detroit Tigers in 1905. During that time, Cobb's addition to an already talented team that includes baseball legends such as Sam Crawford, Hughie Jennings, Bill Donovan and George Mullin yielded great results quickly. And in 1907, just two years after Ty Cobb joined the team, the Detroit Tigers won their first American League pennant.

The success of the Detroit Tigers in their early years in the MLB endeared them to baseball fans across the nation that is carried up to this day. Fans that supports them, win or lose. As a testament to this, the Tigers have drawn over 120 million fans to home games in their history and are the only American League team to have drawn over 1 million fans each year since 1964.

Today, the Detroit Tigers compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League(AL) Central Division.  Support all the Detroit Tigers Players by wearing your very own Detroit Tigers Paracord Bracelet.
