Name / Alias: Jim Beaman
MOS: Store Keeper Unit: USS Wright CC2 boo Rank: PO3
Time Served: 3 Years, 7 Days Branch of Service: Navy
Why I joined the Military: The era of the draft was in effect when I graduated from high school. I felt it was my obligation an 8 PM d duty to enlist, so I chose the Navy. Two of my good friends enlisted also and the three of us went to boot camp together. It made it easier to be away from home for the first time at such a young age. I wanted to complete my service time, start college, and find a good career. U
Life changing event: While serving time in the service I was taught numerous things. The most important ones that have remained with me are discipline, responsibility, and respect. I learned how to adjust to being with a mix of all different personalities which has helped prepare me for the road of my future. I was able to see different areas of the world.
Why I Joined Handmade By Heroes:
One of the requirements to belong to the HBH team is that you must have served in the military. I take great pride in the making of the product that our company sells. I have a granddaughter that shoots international trap for the U.S.A. Shooting. She has a chance of going to the Olympics in 2016, which will be held in Brazil. This helps me to finance a trip there to watch her shoot.
Message to customers...

Jim thank you so very much for making my medical alert bracelet. I received it today I did post a picture of it on the site. My grandfather and my brother was in the navy. I was in the Army 101st. My stepdad and my dad was Air Force. Long line of military. I was so excited when I found this fb page. I love helping veterans and supporting them because I don’t feel that there is much support for our veterans. I am really happy that this company employs veterans. I have been sharing the fb page every chance I get I am also disabled but for other reasons it still sucks though so I understand. Please tell all my brothers and sisters that I thank y’all very much for your service and dedication. Awesome craftsmanship of my bracelet love love love it!!!!! Thank you so much again

I just received my power cord diabetic
Insulin dependent bracelet. I was worried it looked bulky and masculine.
The good news is it’s feminine and though I ordered blue, the purple is lovely!! Nice surprise!!
Can’t wait to show my grandsons this
As they aged 14 and 9 want to go
Into the military!! A
Lil early to know if it will happen!!
