"Fritz was a great guy and a good soldier. I was his Squad leader in Charlie Co. 2Bn 28th Inf. I loved him like a brother and will remmember him always. He voluntered for his final mission to assist ARVN soldiers and when they didn`t show he again voluntered to search the well where it was believed the enemy had hidden ammo, and that is where he died.
