Why I joined the military: I wanted to better my life and to serve my country
Why I joined Handmade by Heroes: Handmade By Heroes provides an excellent work environment and job for military veterans. Being able to work from home is probably one of the best things that anyone could ever ask for. During my time in the military I was the Senior Vehicle Commander for my Company, Alpha 1-5. While in Afghanistan, we were taking some soldiers on leave when my vehicle was hit by A35016 I.E.D. The event killed my PSG SFC McCain and injured everyone else badly. We were all medivaced to KAF and then back to the U.S. After my recovery, I medically retired and have numerous things that I am thankful for, including this job.
