Why I joined the Military: I wanted to serve my country for at least 4 years and ended up making it a career.
Why I joined Handmade By Heroes: Mostly for the relaxed environment. It’s a comfort knowing that I can work at my own pace and have the flexibility to make and keep any appointments throughout the work week.

My favorite sports team and why: I’ve grown up watching the Seattle Seahawks from the beginning of their franchise. I will always show support for my hometown teams.

I recently received a wonderful package from you guys, which went far beyond what I was expecting. I was expecting just a Multiple Sclerosis emblem to replace the one that I lost on my medical bracelet instead not only did I receive the emblem, but much, much more.

Hi Michael…Thank you for your service! I’m a 24-year PJ veteran of the USAF now working at the VA Hospital in Durham, NC as a Physician Assistant. You created lanyards for both my wife (also a PA) and myself some time back that have received a great deal of admiration. I would like to purchase two additional lanyards, but I have some specific instructions. I would like both of them in the same red, white and blue colors but would like the Pararescue emblem inserted in both. I will supply the emblems from bracelets also made by “Handmade by Heroes” but no longer used. In fact, you can keep the hardware that came with the bracelets. Additionally, I would like the knotted portion to be shortened by 1 inch (you did this for me before) on one of the lanyards and the loop portion to be reduced to 12’ long when stretched flat. The second lanyard can be the normal dimensions. I just need to know if this is possible and where to send the bracelets/emblems. I received my grey and yellow bracelet with the paw print today! Based on the description, plus the fact that this was made by veterans, I knew I would receive a great product. Thanks for your service. I bought the peanut allergy one for my 3 yr old. He proudly wears it and shows it off to everyone and let’s them know what it says. I told him I liked it and he must of thought I said “lick it” cause he responded. " Dad please don’t eat it, I will be so sad"

I want to thank you for your service. My father was in the Army and son, that just graduated from college, is going into the Air Force. The Epilepsy bracelet that you made for me is awesome. The quality of it is wonderful. I never take it off. I may need to buy more for the colors. Unfortunately, there are no procedures in a work environment so I had to resign. This bracelet means to world to me. It is just important as my wedding band. Thank you again for this bracelet and I would never purchase another one from anywhere else.

My father-in-law was in the Army during the Korean war and a nephew was in the Marines so the military is very important to me. I just got my medical alert bracelet. Thank you for such a great job! I am wishing I had put asthma on it now too, but definitely can on the next one.
I love the colors I picked, they look really nice together. The clasp is a new type to me, but working well.
As the widow of a Vietnam vet; mom of two Saudi vets; and a son about to retire as a MSgt, I appreciate your sacrifice, and support your organization by happily buying from you, and also donating – in memory of my late husband. It also will be very helpful to my situation if I were to have a seizure outside of the presence of family and friends. It will help people to assist me appropriately.
