Why I joined the Military: I joined the military in 2000 straight out of high school because I wanted to do something meaningful with my life and make a difference in this world. It was probably the best decision I have ever made, and miss my time in the service daily.
Life changing event: The events that happen to us daily change us, and shape us into who we are. Some are bigger than others but nonetheless, everything that happens to you changes you. For me, the plans for my life changed when I was injured in Afghanistan and my military career came to a screeching halt. I had to figure out how to live outside of the military sooner than I thought I would have to.
Why I Joined Handmade By Heroes: I joined Handmade By Heroes as a way to make a little more income, and found the bond that I had been missing that you only find with other individuals that have served.
