Why I joined the Military: I joined the militrary in an effort to make a difference within society and to be a part of something much larger than just the local community. The military has given me the opportunity to not just live and breathe pride and dedication to our country but also gave the self-satisfaction I needed for myself.
Life changing event: Joining the military in itself was a major life changing event for me. It's an organization like no other, it's a concept that the civilian sector will never understand. The "brotherhood" and comradery create ever lasting friendships, bonds and memories. It truly shows the strength behind the statement that "family isn't always blood".
Why I Joined Handmade By Heroes: I originally joined Handmade By Heroes as an extra source of income. But with that military comradery, no matter which branch you were, past, present or retired, that bond is easily created amongsth each other and it's a sense of being a part of a team again. The aspect of supporting vets through a military run company is self satisfying.
