Why I joined the Military: I joined the Army to see the world and go to college. I still see those 3 years - the good, the bad and the ugly as some of the most rewarding years of my life. I came home with a deep appreciation for being an American. A new country built on (previously thought) unheard of ideals. And here we are…steadily wrestling forward.
Why I joined Handmade By Heroes: Because they let me. While I’ve grown more critical as I’ve gotten older, working with these real heroes has been enriching. I hear them reminiscing and they don’t see that they’re heroes. Just those every day ordinary heroes. It was just life. It’s an honor to be able to hear their stories. I hope each of these has the most happiest of lives.
