We can make your bracelet with side-release metal or plastic clasp. If you would like this option, please follow these steps:
1. First, select the color of your bracelet and add it to your cart (you will be taken to the cart page).
2. Go back to this page and Click here. You will be taken to a different page where you can choose the buckle type and your bracelet size. (IMPORTANT: Buckled bracelets are NOT adjustable so you will be asked to provide the exact size for your bracelet.)
3. Add clasp to cart and complete your order at the checkout page.

We are unable to guarantee that in a Medical Emergency, your helper will read the bracelet and understand the writing.
We use waterproof paper for the medical ID emblems but it is still NOT advisable to wear the bracelet when swimming or in the shower.
Our new adjustable bracelets come in two sizes. To make sure you select the best fitting bracelet for you, please refer to this simple guide on measuring your wrist:
1. Take a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist to where the two ends touch and there isn't any slack. Make sure it's not too tight that it cuts off your circulation.
2. Mark this exact length on your string and use a ruler to determine your wrist measurement.
3. Once you have your wrist size, you can now choose the right bracelet size for you:
> If your wrist measures 6" to 7.5", order a Small/Kids size through this page
> If your wrist measures 7.5" to 10", this bracelet will fit!

Perfect fit. Excellent craftsmanship The only improvement I would make is to make it waterproof. -Use clear heat shrink tape (electric) on the tag beforehand.
The bracelet came exactly as I ordered. I haven’t had it a month and accidentally got it wet. The medical tag rubbed off. Bummer… I got the stainless so it was water resistant, but it isn’t.
I decided to by two, sent to my future retirement home and my regular home.

Great! Idea for improvement:give an option to install a heat shrink sleeve over the charm. The glue isn’t waterproof; this fixes this problem. Patrons would pay for this option.

I had someone purchase me the same thing in the small because of my child-sized wrists. It was great for a year, nearly 2, but it was getting harder to put on because I could not slip it over my hand. So, I bought the larger size this time and it great and I gave the old one to my son to wear for MS awareness.
I have multiple sclerosis and have been living with it for 20 years. I have been looking for a medical bracelet for a long time but nothing seemed perfect for me because I always loose or break the ones I have previously had. So one day I came across the “Handmade by Hero’s” website. Perfect! I am married to a military man and I work at “Mission BBQ” so I deal with veterans and military men and women everyday. I unfortunately did not measure correctly and needed to send my bracelet back to be resized but I loved the way it was made and will be great once it fits! I'm really happy that they give you the option to pay a little more to resize instead of needing to repurchase!

Although I am happy with my order, I was not happy with the different latch. I have a lot of pain in my hands and fingers so it is hard for me to loop the two together. Otherwise I do love it.

Very well made! Beautiful bracelet. I have a huge problem with the size. When the bracelet is closed it leaves only 5 3/4 inches to fit my wrist. I ordered a size 7 thinking that would be the inside measurement, but the bracelet is 1/4 inch thick & and when you close the clasp it takes size away because of the thickness. I got it to stretch a little & could barely get it on. As soon as I went outside in 80 degree weather the bracelet tightened so I couldn't wear it. So sad because it is such good quality, nice looking bracelet.

This is my second bracelet from them and I'm very disappointed in this one. They went to a cheap clasp that takes away from the bracelet so much. I won't even wear it it's so bad. Won't be buying from here anymore.
