Why I joined the Military: Basically a family tradition. My
grandfathers served in WW2 in the Army and the Air force. My Great Uncle earned a Silver Star in Korea; he used to say, “Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum,” which means If you want peace, prepare for war. My family has served Our Country since the revolutionary war.
Why I Joined Handmade By Heroes: HBH made it easy for me to fit in with my type of disability.

Garret, first I personally want to thank you and the rest of the men and women who served and are serving our great country. You made my Miami Dolphins paracord bracelet. What a FANTASTIC job and wouldn’t expect any less from a fine Marine like yourself. I, too, have an entire family of servicemen. My Daddy had 11 brothers and sisters (12 in all). Six boys and six girls. They were a farming family from south GA. All my Uncle’s including Dad were Military and all my Aunt’s married Military men. My Grandfather was Army and served WWI Rainbow Division (Medical). As you can see, I have a huge respect for servicemen and women. God Bless you and yours.
