Why I Joined the Military: I got into trouble but I stayed in because I loved to serve my country and help my Soldiers.

Life Changing Event: Life changing accident and I got an injury. I wasn’t the best to my wife, I gave all my time to the Military and had to re structure my life. My wife is first now, make her happy. Well, God, then Wife.

Why I Joined Handmade By Heroes: Need to still feel like a part of something, feel like I am still doing something.

Hi there. I found your bracelet in a store in Saint Cloud, Florida. I raised 5 children 4 of whom were in the Military and went to Iraq and Afghanistan. My Daughter did 2 tours of Iraq and then ended up at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She is now medically retired and 100% disabled. I like that you are doing something to stay busy but as I always tell my daughter you are a part of something. You will always be a soldier and part of the military family. I wish you and your family well….
