Why I Joined the Military: I joined the military because it was just something that I had always wanted to do. As long as I can remember I had wanted to be in the Army, and I knew I definitely didn't want to go to college or stay at home, so I enlisted at 17 and left for basic training a week after graduating high school.
Why I Joined Handmade by Heroes: I really enjoy making things; it’s almost therapeutic for me, so when I learned of Handmade by Heroes I figured I would be a great opportunity for me to do something I like while supporting my fellow veterans at the same time.
Message to Customers: As veterans and service members we hear a lot of “thank you,” but I would like to thank YOU for supporting Handmade by Heroes. In doing so you are providing opportunities that veterans such as myself wouldn’t otherwise have.
My Favorite Sport Team and Why: I honestly cannot say that I follow sports, but living in Colorado I guess you could say that I'm a Broncos fan, so long as they're winning!
Austin — Thank you for taking such pride in making the bracelets I ordered. They arrived over the weekend and I have already sent them off as Christmas presents to family and friends. I made copies of the card you included so that they can all know the story behind the bracelet and wear it with more than just pride for OU but pride in the fine people like you who choose to serve and support our country. I just wanted to Thank You Austin for making my NJ Devils bracelet. You did a GREAT job making it. I love it very much. Thank You for your service to this country, it is much appreciated, I have much RESPECT and LOVE for you and all the men who served this country.
